During the week of November 6th – 10th it is "Survivor" Week. The entire Radiation Department divides into "Teams" and all the people receiving radiation are asked to participate if they want to. Each team gets points for all persons who do participate each day. At the end of the week the score is tallied and the team with the most points wins. There is also a brainteaser question to be answered. My team is called "Ganong Tribe" (after the brand of chocolates).
Monday was "Bandana" Day. Everyone came wearing a bandana, either around their neck or around their head, like I did.

I dig caves and fill them with gold and silver. I’ve also been known to build silver bridges and gold crowns. I work in areas that are so tiny it’s hard to imagine. Everyone will need my help someday, but they are afraid to let me help them.

Tuesday was "Hat" Day. You could where any kind of hat you choose. Two of my technicians wore bright multicolored hats, similar to very tall top hats. They were really funny. Reminded us of something out of a Dr. Zeus book.

Friday was "Island" Day – Dress like it is summer or you are on an Island. This was going to be a little harder for me since I wear the same things in summer as I do in winter so I had to improvise.
